Lisa E. Baranik is currently an Assistant Professor in the Management Department at University at Albany where she teaches courses in Human Resource Management. Lisa has over 35 academic conference presentations and her work has been published in journals such as the Journal of Management, Human Performance, Psychological Bulletin, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Stress and Health, Journal of Career Development, Educational and Psychological Measurement, Human Resource Management Review, and Journal of Research in Personality. In addition to her work as a professor, Lisa is the president of the Baranik Group, a consulting group that provides services in survey development, employee selection, and leadership development. Lisa received her B.A. in English and Psychology from Bucknell University, her M.A. in Psychological Sciences from James Madison University, and her Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from The University of Georgia. She is a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Southern Management Association, Academy of Management, Society for Occupational Health Psychology, and the American Psychological Association.
