Lisa is an Assistant Professor in the Management Department at University at Albany. Her research utilizes motivation perspectives to investigate employee health and mentoring relationships. This work draws on motivation theories, such as goal orientation, self-determination and goal progress theories, to explain why difficult situations cause stress and how mentoring relationships help employees thrive.
